Units and measurements are important as they are used as a way for us to communicate the concept of “how much/many” with others. For example how much flour is needed in a recipe or how many miles to the store. In this course students will learn that units and measurements are used to give number values to a number of things like distance (length, width, and height), weight, time, volume (liquid measurements), and temperature. They will also learn how to convert/ calculate from one unit of measure to another.
