Life on Earth: A study of living creatures
8 Classes ( 4 week course starting Tuesday 21st April 2020. Meets 2 X per week Tuesday and Thursday from 10:00 am – 12:00 pm PST. 120 minute sessions with 90 minutes of class time and 30 minutes office hours)
This introductory life science is the study of the structure and behavior of living organisms. Students will learn what differentiates a living being from a non living being, the differences between plants and animals, their ecosystems, habitats and adaptations, and finally how they are categorized.

Prerequisites: Must currently be enrolled in 4th or 5th grade.
Materials Needed: Computer, Laptop or tablet with camera, audio and video enabled. Safari or Chrome browser. A pencil and a notebook or paper.
